about

This song is titled the last ballad of Mardana - and is about leaving a beautiful life, to death we must all part, even those who have lived a beautiful blissful life. I had tried to imagine How Mardana must of felt knowing he is going to depart this life, and here he plays his last ballad to Guru Nanak, knowing he departs with this last song, forever.
